The Acoustic Cafe’ event sponsored by LiFE Without Lupus was a wonderful and delightful event that my spouse and I looked forward to. We attended one last year and it too was educating and informative.

This event in October of 2024 was great!! We invited a friend who enjoyed the event. The event was put together with professionalism and dedication. The event organizers are committed and passionate about what they do. Our guest and ourselves were impressed. We felt welcomed and amazed by the passion and professionalism of the performing artists and the Emcee in attendance.

I would recommend anyone who is curious to find out about The Life without Lupus Foundation to attend. It would change your perspective and may satisfy your curiosity and give you a better understanding of why the foundation exist.

I am so delighted to tell y’all about the Acoustic Café’ event that I attended. Where do I begin? The evening started with an incredible performance by Gloria, the beautiful woman who was the embodiment of a young " Maya Angelou"! So Amazing! I was immediately stunned by her voice.

Then came the unique vocal style of Mr. Sean Johnson, who blessed my soul with his magnificent powerful voice! What a night! The delicious food topped off everything.

This event would have been a "steal" even if the ticket price were $150 per person! The reading, live band, wonderful Emcee, Silent Auction etc.!

All in all, an evening of great joy! I MUST highly commend and praise the organizers for creating something truly spectacular!

I attended Acoustic Café—an Evening of Music & Poetry which was sponsored by The LiFE Without Lupus Foundation. What I enjoyed most was the poetry by Gloria Umanah. She is not only beautiful in appearance, but radiates compassion, love & heartfelt feeling while doing her poetry. She is so poised. Aside from that, the food was amazing and the organizers, as always, did an AMAZING job on organizing the event.

I really enjoyed attending Acoustic Café!!

It was a pleasure to meet and greet the Lupus Survivors in our community. The Music and Spoken Word were great to experience and really made the night!! The Silent Auction was very exciting too!! It was wonderful that we were able to enjoy an evening filled with fabulous music & poetry and at the same time, be a support to Lupus Survivors. Overall, Acoustic Café was an enjoyable celebration in recognition of a great cause!!

Thank you for hosting the Holiday Fundraiser for the Stovall house. It was one of the best fundraiser events that I have attended. The location and the meeting room were very accommodating.

The entertainment for the evening was exceptional—poetry and music. Both the poet and the singer-songwriter were superb. The band was not overpowering and played well.

The fun part was bidding on gifts and winning gift certificates from local and Western slope merchants who had websites available for online gift purchases. There was plenty of food and beverages.

Thank you for your dedication to the creation of Stovall house, where those affected by this autoimmune disease will find respite, comfort, connections and support.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Life Without Lupus annual event this year. The food was delicious; the live entertainment was most enjoyable; the staff at the venue were warm and attentive and the silent auction had lots of interesting items for guests to bid on. Many thanks to the organizing committee for doing such a beautiful job of organizing this event. I am already looking forward to next year.
